Craft Workshops for beginners
A series of fantastic craft based workshops for beginners will be taking place at St Mary's Centre in the school, please contact us for more information or to book your self a place on one of our classes.
Funds raised will support the renovation of the barn, which will provide additional accommodation for the retreat centre.

If you wish to do a few workshops and stay over we are offering
bed and breakfast including an evening meal for just £30!
Please let us Know if you have any dietry requirements.
Home made soup and crusty bread will be available from 12.30-1.30pm in between workshop sessions for £3.50
Juice, tea, coffee and scones will also be available throughout the workshops for a donation.

You will be taught how to re make your old jewellery into something new and fabulous! You will learn how to make
a pair of earrings
a bracelet
and a charm necklace
Bring with you any odd earrings, broken chains, beaded bracelets or beaded necklaces and all the bits and pieces that you don't wear anymore and we will show you how to give them a new lease of life!

Stained Glass £65
Sat 16th April, Full Day workshop 9am - 5pm
You will be taught by Joanna Blaylock, the stained glass artist that designed and made the West Window in the Church at St Mary's Centre Wycliffe. (shown above)
You will learn how to make a small leaded stained glass window using traditional methods.

Embellishing Cardigans
Sunday 17th April 1.30 - 5pm
either bring your own cardigan to embellish £17.50
or we will provide you with one £22.50
you will learn some fantastic techniques such as
applique
beading
pin tucks and many more!
Skills that could be used to revamp all kinds of things not just cardigans!
The possibilities are endless!

Felt Making
7th May £30 half day session
You will learn how to make a picture using dyed and un-dyed Merino wool. It is rather like painting with wool and there is no mess.
You don’t need to bring anything with you as I supply all the materials.
If you have an image or an idea put it down on paper and we can see what we can do.
During the session I will explain various techniques and by the end of the session you will have a piece to take home!

Dress Making for beginners
£75 full weekend in May (exact date TBC)
Learn how to make a simple dress or skirt from start to finish using a pattern. All materials and tools will be provided but if you have a swewing machine or any cotton fabric that you'd like to bring with you please do!
